A one-of-a-kind autobiographical entertainment show that fuses music, dance
and fashion to depict the turbulent life and creative trajectory of world-renowned
fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier as a theatrical work of art, from his
childhood to his breakthrough as a top designer. Over 200 actual haute
couture garments that adorned the runways of the Paris Collection make
a rare appearance!
The premiere in Paris in 2018 was well received and nominated for numerous
theatre awards. The show was further staged in London in 2022, followed
by a world tour in 2023, starting with a performance in Tokyo! A shocking,
topical work that sent Germany and Portugal into a frenzy in the same year,
and Milan, Italy, Spain and Australia in 2024!

To celebrate the opening in Japan, opening event will be held before the
main show begins!
※Tickets for the 12 September performance can be purchased.
※The duration of the premiere performance: 2.5 hours (17:00 - premiere
event (approx. 15 mins), intermission, 17:30 - main performance begins
/ Act I 45 mins, intermission 20 mins, Act II 55 mins)
※Media companies and organisers will be filming in the theatre. The performance
may be broadcast and published on TV, magazines, websites and social networking
sites. Please note that filming with your own filming equipment is prohibited.
Please understand this beforehand.
※Please note that from the start of the event to the start of the main
performance, access to the audience may be restricted.
◎＝Dress-up recommended night
We encourage you to come in your favourite fashions. You too can become
a fashion freak!
※In the auditorium, no hats or clothing that obstructs the view from surrounding
seats, such as clothing that exceeds the head line, are not permitted.
※Please refrain from using glittering powder, strong perfume or excessive
decoration as it may damage the seats.
※Please do not change clothes or occupy the dressing rooms in Shibuya Hikarie
or the theatre foyer for long periods of time.
※We ask for your cooperation with the above precautions. Please note that
the venue staff may ask those customers with above requests.
VIP SPECIAL EVENT
The VIP SPECIAL EVENT is open to customers who have purchased VIP tickets
for the applicable performance during the ticket pre-sale period or between
Sunday 15 June and Thursday 31 July and have completed payment. A separate
application for participation is required after purchasing VIP tickets
for the applicable performance dates.
※Only customers who have purchased and paid for their tickets online (web
reception) are eligible for this event. Please note that tickets purchased
by phone or at the box office do not qualify.
※Customers who purchased and paid for VIP seats for the applicable performances
during the pre-order period will receive an email with application details
by late June.
※Customers who purchased and paid for VIP tickets for the applicable performances
between 15 June (Sun) and 31 July (Thu) will receive an email with application
details in mid-August.
＝Photo session on stage
Participation in a raffle
This is a special event where a limited number of 30 people can be selected
by lottery for a photo session with the cast on stage after the show.
※The application will be accepted by lottery and may not be successful
if there are too many applications. VIP tickets already purchased cannot
be cancelled even in the event of an unsuccessful application.
※Applications are only valid for the same performance times and number
of tickets. Please note that applications for different performance times
and number of tickets will be unsuccessful.
※The photo session will be a joint photo session in three groups of 10
people each.
※No shoes are allowed on the stage. Please make sure to bring your own
slippers.
The material photographed will be delivered as data. The material photographed
on the day may be posted on the official social networking sites and the
social networking sites of the participants.By participating in this event,
you agree to the use of your portrait. Please be aware of this beforehand.
